Dearborn Estates
Enquiry and Planning Assistant (October 2024 - July 2025)
Whilst many of my responsibilities and skills overlapped with my previous experience, Dearborn brought new opportunities for me in the luxury event space, working with a wider variety of clients ranging from brand and corporate events to high net worth weddings with budgets of 50k - £200k +. This included building bespoke quotations and proposals, conducting private viewings, event planning, and account management (payment addendums, invoicing, etc.)
Working with HNWIs on a regular basis opened my eyes to a new style of planning, that not only required patience and attention to detail, but the ability to inspire on a grand scale. I appreciated the expectations these clients had and I was always striving to meet them.
Although much of my role was focused with Kin House, I also worked across the three other Dearborn venues, frequently travelling across the south of the UK. Working over the four venues required flexibility and discernment as each venue has a unique character and separate clienteles with individual requirements.
Dearborn also strengthened my understanding of how thoughtfully curated spaces can shape an experience and communicate a story. Working within such distinctive venues refined my eye for design and taught me that even the smallest intentional details can influence how an event feels, ensuring every element contributes to a cohesive and memorable final result.
I have always been fascinated by luxury client experiences, and Dearborn introduced me to a wider network of creative suppliers, brands, and concepts that shared a curated yet characterful approach to storytelling. In an age where clients increasingly want experiences that feel personal and unique, I developed the ability to understand individual personalities and translate them into environments and experiences that felt authentic to the client while remaining inspiring and engaging for their guests.
